Hello, my name is Mr. Brown. I have been a teacher in Warren Consolidated School District since 2009. I am also a graduate of Warren Mott High School, and I take great pride in the education this district provides for its students. After high school, I studied at Macomb Community College and received my Associates Degree in Graphic Commercial Art. I then transferred to Wayne State University, where I double majored in English Secondary Education and Art Education. I completed my Masters Degree from the MAT program at Marygrove University.
My goal as an art teacher is to equip my students with sophisticated problem solving skills that will serve them for the rest of their life. Regardless of ability to produce artwork or passion for pursuing art beyond high school, all students stand to benefit something from my class. I incorporate math, science, and literacy into my daily instruction. More than an opportunity to "take a break from core subject classes," my classroom is an opportunity for students to practice what they know, challenge how they think, and develop a more sophisticated view of the world around them.
If you would like to contact me in regards to questions you may have about my lessons or about your child's performance I can be reached via E-mail at [email protected]
